Surface root grinding — stump add-on only
Available only for roots associated with a removed tree stump we are grinding. Root flare immediately around the stump is included in the stump quote; exposed roots extending farther into the yard are extra. Small roots (1–3 inches thick) start at $3/ft; medium roots (4–6 inches) at $5/ft; larger roots at $7–$8/ft or custom quote. Final rate depends on root thickness, access, and depth.

Chip handling & removal
Chips may be left on-site at no extra charge. Raking into a neat pile is included with standard grinding. Loading and hauling chips away starts at $100 per job, subject to volume, access, disposal and safe hauling limits. Large jobs may require an additional trip or custom quote.
